Job summary

Greystar in Los Angeles is seeking a Leasing Associate to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the community. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, screen credit and background checks, prepare leases, and ensure a smooth move-in.

Responsibilities include marketing to sustain occupancy, following policies on concessions, and using software like OneSite or Yardi to manage data and show units that meet show quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Leasing experience (Prior experience in Affordable and stabilized housing communities preferred).
• Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Incumbents must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting prospects, conducting tours, showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening, and lease signing.
• Inspects apartments prior to move-in and coordinates maintenance to ensure units are move-in ready.
• Develops and implements marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follows policies related to concessions and programs.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to drive traffic using internet channels and employer outreach.
• Uses onsite software to track availability, traffic, and resident data and ensures units meet show quality standards.
• Follows up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and assists with lease renewals.
