Job summary

Commodore Perry Estate Auberge Collection in Austin, TX is seeking a proactive Guest Services Associate to deliver prompt, courteous guest interactions and professional call handling. You will coordinate with Front Desk, Bellperson, Housekeeping, and Engineering to ensure seamless stays.

This role emphasizes anticipating guest needs, maintaining a calm demeanor in emergencies, and representing the brand with warmth and attentiveness during evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English, both orally and in writing, using proper spelling and grammar, with guests, co-workers, and management to their understanding, both in person and by telephone.
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.
• Ability to interact in a polite, professional, and engaging manner upon encountering resort guests, whether on the grounds of the resort, while working a resort function, upon entering or leaving from work, or at any other time.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to be a clear thinker and remain calm in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient handling of all incoming calls and guest requests.
• Follow up to ensure guest requests or problems are met to their satisfaction.
• Relay messages accurately and coordinate with Front Desk, Bellperson, Housekeeping, and other departments.
• Handle wake-up calls and process guest questions or concerns.
• Anticipate guest service needs and engage guests to enhance their stay.
• Maintain professional, positive, timely service and teamwork.
