Job summary

The RealReal, Inc. is seeking a High Risk Authenticator to verify authenticity of luxury goods at our Arizona/NJ facilities. You will evaluate items, examine brand identifiers, and document details to prepare listings for our platform.

You will work with senior staff to research styles, maintain quality standards, and ensure accurate pricing and categorization. Enthusiastic about fashion and luxury markets, you thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be Level 2 certified Authenticator.
• 1–2 years’ experience in fashion authentication or appraisal.
• Knowledge of luxury fashion terminology and designers.
• Ability to excel in a high-volume, repetitive environment.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Adaptable and comfortable with change.
• Collaborative with high integrity and teamwork.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Review and authenticate luxury handbags, clothing, shoes, and accessories using TRR methodology.
• Use technology to verify brand identifiers and authenticity marks.
• Assess quality of materials and construction.
• Collaborate with Senior High Risk Authenticators on item research for style/retail price.
• Record product details into backend TRR system.
• Adhere to acceptance and condition standards.
