The Chanler at Cliff Walk, a luxury property in Newport, RI, seeks a Guest Services Representative to deliver personalized service across the guest journey—from pre-arrival to departure. You will welcome guests, coordinate requests, and provide local recommendations with discretion and warmth.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, excellent English communication, and a commitment to impeccable guest experiences in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of hotel or luxury hospitality experience preferred.
• Previous front desk, guest services, reservations, or concierge experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to communicate professionally and warmly with guests, management, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, anticipatory service that reflects Forbes and brand standards.
• Manage reservations, pre-arrival, arrival, in-house requests, and departure.
• Coordinate requests across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Check guests in and out in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Provide Newport restaurant, attraction, and local activity recommendations as a concierge resource.
• Maintain accurate guest records and complete required procedures.
