Job summary

The Jay is seeking a Guest Service Agent for a full-time, on-site role in San Francisco. This position supports the luxury guest experience at our Autograph Collection hotel with a focus on welcome service, check-in/check-out, and accurate handling of payments and requests.

We value professional communication, calm handling of busy periods, and the ability to assist guests with local information, amenities, and accommodations.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and move throughout front office.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Strong math skills with calculator for moderate calculations.
• Ability to input information into a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to handle internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Complete the registration process using the computer system and confirm guest details and room rate.
• Promote HEI Hotels and Resorts programs and brand initiatives.
• Code electronic keys, verify and imprint credit cards, and process payments.
• Answer phones promptly and relay messages to guests.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and resolve any guest issues.
