The Jay, entering a new phase of luxury in San Francisco's Embarcadero area, seeks a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, input registrations, and manage room assignments with accuracy. You will code electronic keys, handle payments, and balance the house bank while delivering warm, professional service.

Responsibilities include answering phones, relaying messages, and resolving guest concerns to ensure a seamless stay.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk or guest services preferred.
• Ability to balance cash and transactions accurately.
• Strong communication skills with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and provide accurate information.
• Complete registration by inputting guest details and room rates.
• Code electronic keys and prepare welcome folders with keys and materials.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization; handle payments and balance house accounts.
• Answer calls promptly and relay messages to guests; retrieve mail and packages as requested.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and address guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
