Job summary

The Jay, Autograph Collection in San Francisco seeks an experienced facilities engineer to maintain building systems, ensure guest safety, and uphold energy efficiency across the property.

You will perform preventative maintenance, coordinate with vendors, service pools, refurbish furniture, and respond promptly to guest requests to uphold our luxury standard of service. Collaboration with hotel teams and flexible scheduling are expected to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling or certification in building trades preferred.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and electrical/plumbing diagrams.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with hotel staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders.
• Check electrical systems and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Service the hotel pool and maintain pool chemicals and filters.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and common areas.
• Respond to guest questions or requests to ensure satisfaction.
