The role requires experience in luxury hotel dining, strong customer service, decision-making under pressure, and the ability to train and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant within a luxury hotel or full-service resort.
• Knowledge of Micros point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pleasant and positive personality.
• Well organized and process-driven.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings, relay information about upcoming events to staff under supervision.
• Share information about capabilities and programs to other departments and clients.
• Respond to needs and requests of guests and potential guests.
• Maintain standards of food, beverage and service quality commensurate with a first-class operation.
• Implement cost controls for food, beverage and labor.
• Utilize inventory, receiving and product utilization systems.
• Lead by example and uphold productivity standards for F&B staff.
• Create a comfortable atmosphere to encourage committed and loyal employees.
• Assist with hiring and training for F&B personnel.
• Support other F&B outlets as needed.
