Job summary

Fairmont Austin seeks an Event Services Coordinator to support the Event Sales & Services team with daily operations, contracts, and client communications. You will ensure luxury standards across spaces and menus while coordinating with Banquets, Culinary, Rooms, and other departments.

Based in Austin, you will handle reports, site inspections, tastings, and administrative tasks, providing professional service in the absence of an Event Services Manager and helping deliver unforgettable guest

Qualifications

• Advanced interpersonal and written communication for professional correspondence.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure hotel environment.
• Maintains confidentiality with discretion and professionalism.
• Experience with Opera, Social Tables, and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming calls with professional responses.
• Prepare contracts, proposals, reports, BEOs, menus, and formal communications.
• Administer information systems: menu input, BEOs, documentation, and templates.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the Event Services team.
• Coordinate site inspections, tastings, and internal communications with departments.
• Provide client support in the absence of an Event Services Manager.
• Ensure event spaces and collateral meet luxury brand standards.
• Facilitate communication between Banquets, Culinary, Rooms, and operations.
