Job summary

Saks Global is seeking an E-commerce Category Specialist to drive online performance for a luxury brand, optimize product presentation, and analyze data to meet sales targets.

You will collaborate with merchandising, buying, and digital experience teams to refine assortment, ensure accurate product information, and improve site navigation and search results. You will also track KPIs and report insights to guide strategy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in category management, ecommerce preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related field.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and derive actions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Partner with manager to implement brand-specific ecommerce strategies.
• Collaborate with merchandising and buying to influence assortment.
• Ensure intuitive merchandising and optimize site experience with Digital Experience teams.
• Maintain product categorization, filtering, and navigation; coordinate with ISU.
• Ensure product information accuracy across online touchpoints.
• Track and report category performance metrics (sales, conversion, AOV, traffic).
• Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies.
• Align with buying/merchandising and external partners on growth.
• Collaborate with digital teams to implement website enhancements and fix issues.
• Address ad hoc requests and synthesize data-driven recommendations.
