Saks Global is seeking an E-commerce Category Specialist to drive online performance across assigned product categories. You will optimize product presentation, analyze performance data, and collaborate with merchandising, IT, and marketing to meet sales targets.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in category management, strong analytical and communication skills, and a solid understanding of ecommerce best practices. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions and seamless online experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of category management experience, preferably in ecommerce.
• Strong knowledge of retail buying, merchandising, or digital marketing is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ecommerce category strategies aligned with online sales targets.
• Collaborate with merchandising and buying to influence product assortment and productivity.
• Maintain intuitive site experience: navigation, product array, search results, and linking strategy.
• Work with Digital Experience teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize site performance.
• Ensure accurate product information across all online touchpoints.
• Analyze key metrics: sales, conversion, AOV, traffic, bounce rates, and report findings.
• Monitor competitor activity and adapt strategies as needed.
• Coordinate with online/offline teams to align strategies and ensure product availability.
