Job summary

Saks Global is seeking an E-commerce Category Specialist to drive online category performance and growth. You will optimize product presentation, analyze data, and coordinate with merchandising, buying, and digital experience teams to meet sales targets and enhance profitability across the ecommerce channel.

The role requires 2+ years in category management, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in category management in an ecommerce environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related field.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, functionalities, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement e-commerce category strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with merchandising and buying teams to optimize product assortment.
• Ensure accurate product information and intuitive site navigation across categories.
• Track and report on category performance metrics such as sales, conversion and AOV.
• Work with Digital Experience teams on site enhancements and issue resolution.
