Job summary

The Omaha Marriott Downtown, Society 1854, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in a fine dining setting.

You will greet guests, input orders, handle payments, maintain cleanliness, and resolve guest concerns. A high school diploma is preferred; requires English proficiency, ability to lift 30 pounds, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of food & beverage preparation and service standards.
• Experience in a fine dining outlet is a plus.
• Ability to handle guest complaints with empathy and provide solutions.
• Proficient in English for guest requests and reservations.
• Experience with POS and cash handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain specials.
• Understand menu and preparation of dishes.
• Record and input orders into POS system.
• Deliver orders with accuracy and courtesy.
• Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process payments and thank guests.
• Complete side work and maintain cleanliness.
• Address guest complaints promptly.
