Job summary

Riviera Dining Group in Miami Beach seeks polished Captains to lead and elevate the guest experience in a fast-paced luxury dining environment. You will guide guests through the menu, coordinate with servers, present beverages with confidence, and ensure service surpasses the highest standards of hospitality.

We require at least 2 years in upscale or fine dining, strong knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years in a high-volume upscale or fine dining restaurant.
Strong knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and elevated service standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Professional demeanor with a focus on hospitality and guest experience.
Proven leadership ability to guide and support team members.
Food handling certification in compliance with state regulations preferred.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and performance-driven.

Responsibilities

Lead the flow of service by greeting guests and guiding them through the menu.
Communicate orders clearly to servers and support staff.
Present and announce food and beverage selections with precision and confidence.
Maintain expert knowledge of menus, ingredients, and allergy considerations.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of cocktails, wine pairings, and beer.
Ensure service standards, policies, and procedures are followed.
Review daily prep lists and confirm readiness of service elements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tableside service areas and equipment.
Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, personalized service.
