Job summary

The Sebastian - Vail - A Timbers Resort is seeking a Sales & Marketing professional to lead group and catering sales and coordinate exceptional meetings and events from inquiry through completion. This on-site, full-time role reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and requires flexibility and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in conference services, hospitality sales, or catering.
• Strong sales, negotiation, organizational, communication, and guest service skills.
• Working knowledge of hotel operations and food and beverage service.
• College degree; luxury hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate, and secure group, catering, and SMERF business.
• Maintain client relationships and meet revenue goals.
• Prepare contracts, banquet event orders, and group resumes, and coordinate event operations, on-site support, and billing.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue across F&B, banquet, and hotel outlets.
