Job summary

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York City is seeking a Concierge to curate memorable guest experiences, respond to inquiries, and coordinate dining, entertainment and transportation to ensure effortless stays.

You will maintain knowledge of hotel services and local events, upholding privacy and professional standards while interacting with guests and staff. Flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays is required; Les Clefs d'Or membership is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar capacity for a luxury or ultra-luxury property in New York City
• Must be able to available to work Weekends, Nights, Mornings and Holidays
• Membership in Les Clefs d'Or preferred

Responsibilities

• Answer questions regarding and/or makes arrangements for dining, entertainment, sports events, recreation, tours, health and beauty services, childcare, transportation, religious worship, cultural activities, shopping, floral services, and other services.
• Address any problems and unusual situations; follow through until resolved and record through HotSOS.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Participate in quality control activities and comply with quality assurance expectations and standards as directed by the hotel (Forbes, LQA and Rosewood Brand Standards).
• Interact in courteous and professional manner with all guests, staff and community members.
• Respond in courteous, professional and rapid manner in order to resolve all guest and staff difficulties.
• Ensures privacy and confidentiality for all hotel guests.
• All other duties as required.
