Job summary

Fisher Island Club seeks a full-time Member Accommodations Manager to lead our cottage operations, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences on our private, upscale island resort. The role requires strong people skills, payroll oversight, and a strategic focus on service, efficiency, and safety.

You will collaborate across departments to maintain high service standards, manage schedules, and support the Director of Member Accommodations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years Front of Office or Guest Services managerial experience.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Must possess accounting aptitude with payroll management.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Friendly, service-oriented and professional demeanor.
• Proficient with computers and software (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of member/guest services.
• Ensure staff operate at peak efficiency to maximize cottage availability with minimal overbooking.
• Ensure front office records are accurate through inter-department communication.
• Ensure payroll and department expenses are monitored per budget.
• Train staff on new policies and procedures to ensure smooth operation.
• Prepare weekly payroll and staff work schedules.
• Maintain department policies and procedures and update logs.
• Address member/guest concerns per Club policy and standards.
• Promote club amenities including restaurants, Spa, Tennis, Marina, and transport services.
