Role Description

The Vehicle Pricing Analyst will oversee evaluating premium and exotic vehicles to optimize Motorenn’s inventory. Responsibilities include utilizing data price vehicles for purchase and sale, assess market trends and pricing strategies, and supporting the dealership acquisitions pipeline as directed. The analyst will also be tasked with ensuring vehicle listing accuracy. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area.

The role initially comprises one key function that requires mastery:

• Vehicle pricing analysis - quickly and accurately evaluate and price potential acquisitions and trade-ins

The role's longer term growth trajectory requires delving into and mastering:

• Vehicle sourcing - independently source consignments and acquisitions
• Vehicle acquisitions - physically evaluate vehicles, whether at Motorenn or at client property, negotiate and execute on a deal, and actually pay for/acquire target vehicles

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the luxury and exotic car market, including brands, models, and industry trends
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and vendor management skill potential
• Proficiency in market analysis, pricing strategy, and data-driven decision-making
• Attention to detail in screening vehicle history, quality assessments, and conducting inspections
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and vendor interactions
• Experience in automotive acquisitions, sales, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and align with company values of trust, efficiency, and excellence
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or other analytical field

Requirements and Compensation - Growth Candidate with Limited Automotive Industry Experience

• Completed undergraduate degree at a top tier university and a background in an analytical field
• Deloitte or similar/higher level consulting firm capability level preferred
• High amount of detailed exotic car knowledge and aptitude to learn more
• High familiarity with Excel and analytics to conduct detailed auction buying strategies
• Strong potential capability to converse with high net worth clients and build relationships that evolve into consignment or acquisitions opportunities
• Future role progression depends on demonstrated ability to continually analyze quickly and accurately, depth of vehicle knowledge, and vehicle acquisition results.
• Compensation is set at $100,000 - $120,000 in the first year. The role would start with a training phase base of $90,000 per year while focusing on vehicle pricing analysis. After 3 months at that level with demonstrated proficiency, the role would increase to $100,000 per year assuming candidate proficiency in vehicle pricing analysis. Candidates that show proficiency in bringing in acquisitions or consignments and capability to cross support with sales will progress to the $120,000 level.
