Longchamp USA in New York seeks a Store Director to oversee all aspects of running a profitable flagship and cultivate a vibrant culture focused on exceptional service, operations excellence, and visual merchandising.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in luxury retail with proven P&L management, staff development, and inventory control, and will partner with corporate on strategy while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or related field OR equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education
Minimum 5 years of experience in high-end retail, boutique, or sales settings
Demonstrated expertise in retail management, including P&L management, staff supervision, scheduling, training, merchandising, inventory control, shrink management, and payroll administration
Exceptional team player
Creative problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Oversee store operations and profitability, setting the tone and culture
Lead store team development through effective communication and morale awareness
Conduct hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Manage payroll, orientation, and HR partnerships
Assign daily tasks, supervise merchandising, and control expenses
Monitor sales performance and implement changes to meet targets
Ensure high service standards and greet every customer
Maintain inventory control and stock levels
Lead store opening/closing procedures and cash accountability
Work on special projects as required
