Job summary

The Creed Boutique in Short Hills, NJ seeks a General Manager to oversee daily operations, build a high-performing team, and deliver a premium customer experience that reflects our luxury brand. You will lead by example and drive sales growth while maintaining exceptional service.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, promotions awareness, events, and ensuring brand integrity; you will partner with Creed Boutiques East Coast to align on strategy and execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 yrs. sales and management experience in the luxury sector; beauty or fragrance a plus.
• Exhibits strong leadership skills with ability to coach, develop and inspire team
• Exceptional client service/customer experience approach and mentality
• Excellent listener with business acumen skills and strong interpersonal relationships
• Able to coordinate and attend regular trainings and stay current on product knowledge
• Strong presentation, communication and organization skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to analyze the business and identify new functional growth opportunities; proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing customer service-oriented team. Coach and provide feedback to ensure a superior customer experience.
• Set performance targets and drive store productivity and profitability using selling tools including Shopify and HubSpot.
• Plan Store schedule in accordance with peak business hours and ensure coverage with the right staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the luxury retail market and current trends.
• Be aware of advertising, launches and promotions and communicate to the team.
• Embrace brand messages and cascade company communications to all staff.
• Build business through out-of-store networking and in-store events.
• Ensure boutique is stocked, cleaned, and merchandised.
• Enforce loss prevention and safety standards.
• Recruitment, selection and onboarding of store staff; develop a bench of future leaders.
