Job summary

Creed Boutique in Short Hills, NJ is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead a high‑performing luxury team, and deliver a captivating, branded customer experience that drives sales growth.

As the face of the boutique, you will manage staffing, training, merchandising, and loss prevention while collaborating with regional leadership to implement campaigns and ensure outstanding service, in anticipation of an November–December 2026 opening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 yrs. sales and management experience in luxury sector, beauty or fragrance a plus.
• Strong leadership with ability to coach, develop and inspire team.
• Exceptional client service and customer experience approach.
• Excellent listening, business acumen and interpersonal skills.
• Able to coordinate trainings and stay current on product knowledge.
• Strong presentation, communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing customer service-oriented team.
• Set performance targets and drive store productivity and profitability using selling tools.
• Plan store schedule to meet peak business hours with right staffing.
• Demonstrate knowledge of luxury retail market and trends.
• Communicate campaigns, launches and promotions to team.
• Cascade brand messages and company communications to staff.
• Build business through networking and in-store events.
• Ensure boutique is stocked, cleaned and merchandised.
• Enforce loss prevention and safety standards.
• Recruit, select and onboard store staff; develop future managers.
