Job summary

Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is seeking a Bellperson to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, and orient guests to their rooms in a professional manner. You will maintain lobby presence and support guest services leadership to ensure flawless service throughout each stay.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, safety, and teamwork, with responsibilities including tour coordination and adherence to Fairmont standards across the property.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming all guests and ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction at every interaction.
• Timely delivery of guests' luggage, messages and items for delivery within the property.
• Personalize guests' orientation of their room in a professional, friendly and engaging way.
• Maintain a presence in the Lobby and assist guests as directed by Guest Services leaders.
• Ensure Lobby and front entrance are clean, including glass surfaces and main doors.
• Record and deliver all guest and colleague deliveries promptly to correct destinations.
• Undertake Doorman duties as directed by the Guest Service Manager.
• Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to Fairmont standards.
• Answer guest inquiries about Washington, D.C. and hotel services.
• Coordinate arrival and departure of all tours in a timely manner.
• Adhere to Health & Safety responsibilities for emergencies and security.
• Assist with room changes as directed by Front Office.
