Job summary

The Beatrice Hotel in Providence is seeking a Bellperson to deliver the highest quality service to guests as the first point of contact on arrival, assisting with luggage and supporting front desk operations as needed.

This role requires a friendly, courteous demeanor, the ability to work under pressure, and rotating night/weekend shifts. Onsite parking is available, and compensation starts at $16 per hour plus gratuities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred, but not required.
• Must display a friendly, warm disposition and provide attentive service.
• Able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and act as a lobby ambassador.
• Escort guests to rooms and assist with luggage.
• Provide knowledge of local attractions and directions.
• Answer phone calls and assist guests accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces and lobby coffee service.
• Support front desk operations during check-in/check-out.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
