Job summary

Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, CA, seeks a full-time Bell Attendant to welcome guests, assist with luggage, and coordinate transportation while maintaining privacy and discretion. You will brief guests on room features, property amenities, and local attractions, ensuring a seamless arrival and stay, with a focus on exceptional hospitality and safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1 year of related experience and/or training preferred.
Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record.
Ability to communicate radio transmissions intermittently.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with courtesy and politeness.
Assist with luggage and transportation for arrival, stay, and departure.
Transport luggage, packages, and belongings to rooms and designated areas.
Escort guests to accommodations and provide room/property orientation.
Explain room features, amenities, hours, and services to guests.
Maintain knowledge of property, facilities, and local attractions for guest recommendations.
Coordinate guest transportation needs and maintain vehicle logs.
Report any vehicle damage per property procedures.
Communicate guest requests to Guest Relations and other departments promptly.
Ensure bell equipment and entrance areas are clean and organized.
