Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate for our Costa Mesa store. You will deliver excellent customer service, actively promote Tempur-Pedic and Sealy products, and cover leadership duties when the Store Manager is unavailable.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of retail experience with high-end products, strong sales skills, and the ability to train teammates in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include paid time off and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ retail experience with high-end luxury and/or custom products.
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Flexibility in work schedule reflecting store hours.
• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time and lift items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care, maintaining a professional appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures, and in maintaining Tempur Sealy’s brand.
• Continue to perform all the Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level.
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team.
• Assist the store manager with merchandising, implementing company programs, and other needs.
• Solve problems within the sales team and direct larger issues to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
