Nordstrom Beauty Department seeks an enthusiastic team member to create personalized beauty experiences for customers, driving sales in on-trend and luxury brands.

You will perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and build loyalty through Nordstrom Rewards while collaborating with colleagues to maintain a welcoming environment and stay ahead of beauty trends. This role emphasizes service, digital engagement, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare.
• Excellent ability to connect with customers, proactively handle concerns and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Empathy and respect for all customers, providing a supportive environment during makeup and skincare application.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Drive to achieve sales goals, with interest in networking and technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer’s goals.
• Collaborate with team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Set and achieve sales goals, for in-store and digital selling using selling tools.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
• Keep department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness.
• Stay updated on beauty trends and products through trainings.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build customer loyalty via Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
