Job summary

Nordstrom in San Jose's Beauty Department is seeking a customer-focused Beauty Associate to perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and recommend products to meet each customer’s goals. You’ll build a loyal following in-store and online while partnering with a passionate team.

You will set and achieve sales targets, participate in in-store events, stay current on trends, and use selling tools including text and social media to engage clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses for customers.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a welcoming in-store environment.

• Book appointments and drive sales for beauty events and services.
• Keep the department organized and customer-ready.
• Stay updated on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings.
• Manage sales, returns, exchanges and build Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
