Nordstrom in California’s Corte Madera Beauty Department seeks a passionate beauty associate to create personalized experiences for customers and drive sales across in-store and digital channels.

You will perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations while collaborating with a team in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Training, events, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare.
• Excellent ability to connect with customers, proactively handle concerns and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Empathy and respect for all customers, providing a supportive environment during makeup and skincare application.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Drive to achieve sales goals, with interest in networking and using technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer’s beauty goals.
• Collaborate with team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
• Set and achieve sales goals, for in-store and digital selling with selling tools and social media.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
• Keep department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness.
• Keep up with beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
