Job summary

Fairmont Delmonico Steakhouse in New Orleans is seeking an experienced Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service with a focus on craft cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic options. You will provide polished, guest-centric service and bring genuine New Orleans hospitality to every interaction.

You will maintain thorough knowledge of the bar program, wines, spirits, and the Delmonico menu, while ensuring accuracy in payments and a flawless guest experience during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to serve alcohol.
• Two years of bartending experience in luxury, upscale, fine-dining, or high-volume environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Excellent hospitality and guest-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, polished service in line with Fairmont and Delmonico standards.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly with genuine hospitality.
• Maintain knowledge of bar operations, safety, and Delmonico menu pairings.
• Prepare cocktails and beverages per established recipes with consistency and quality.
• Present wine and champagne confidently with proper service.
• Collaborate with servers and other teams to ensure seamless service.
• Handle payments accurately and manage cash with proper procedures.
• Keep bar top and service areas clean and organized.
