Job summary

Montage International seeks a General Manager for Bar Pendry to lead bar operations, drive exceptional guest service, and optimize financial results while fostering a positive associate culture. The role requires luxury hospitality expertise and strong leadership in a high-volume bar environment.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training bar staff, monitoring quality, collaborating with F&B leaders, and ensuring safety, sanitation, and cost controls across shifts and events.

Qualifications

• Prior F&B management experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and analyze data and figures.
• Knowledge of food service techniques and cost controls.
• Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.
• Hotel F&B operations knowledge.
• Budgetary analysis capabilities.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, late evenings, and holidays.
• High volume bar experience; luxury hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive product and service culture by circulating on the bar floor to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Partner with F&B leaders and Sales to drive revenues via beverage programs.
• Maintain a luxury environment through processes and oversight of music, programming and capacity.
• Recruit, train, schedule, evaluate and direct bar associates.
• Monitor and ensure safety, sanitation, and cost controls.
• Oversee P&L and overtime, ensuring proper clock-in/out procedures.
