Job summary
Montage International is seeking a Lead Bartender for Pendry Bar in a luxury hotel setting. You will lead the team, train new associates, and craft exceptional cocktails while ensuring top-level guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities include interacting with guests, upselling, maintaining bar standards, and contributing to menu development. Prior micros or other POS experience is preferred; weekend availability is required. Competitive benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- One year minimum of bartending experience.
- Experience with Micros or other POS systems.
- Luxury hotel experience is a plus.
- Able to communicate effectively and provide exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
- Assist with leading the bar team, training new associates and supporting day-to-day operations.
- Interact one-on-one with guests, take orders, mix cocktails, upsell and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the bar and stock supplies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of beverages and menu items, and contribute to new drink menus.
- Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies.
- Collaborate with management, bartenders and service staff.
- Deliver on guests' expectations and create WOW moments.
- Perform additional duties as needed by business needs.
