Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts invites an energetic Banquet Houseperson to join the JW Marriott Reston Station team for its fall grand opening. The role supports setup, service, and breakdown of banquet spaces, contributing to a luxury guest experience in a landmark hotel.

The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic, with opportunities to engage in hotel operations and guest services throughout events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English clearly.
• Self-starting with a positive attitude.
• Maintain neat appearance as per hotel standards.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Set up all meeting rooms per guest specifications, including moving staging, tables, chairs, and dance floors.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and water.
• Break down rooms after meetings and return items to storage for next use.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms to ensure presentable spaces.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
