The JW Marriott Reston Station, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver attentive service for weddings, conferences and other events at the Reston property near Washington, D.C. As part of the banquet team, you will serve food and beverages, clear tables, anticipate guest needs and uphold food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Six months to one year serving experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service with a smile and positive attitude
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner
• Clear tables, clean up after events, and ensure the banquet area is tidy
