Job summary

Four Seasons Napa Valley is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver luxury service at events, with knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, and attentive guest care. You will follow event plans, coordinate with the Banquet Manager and kitchen, and ensure timely, high-quality service.

Preferred candidates have luxury hotel F&B experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. On-call hours and flexible shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in food and beverage service or related work.
• Bartending experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table; knowledge of origin, taste, and preparation method.
• Communicate guest orders to Banquet Manager or kitchen; ensure orders align with original requests.
• Greet guests professionally and respond promptly to concerns and requests.
• Assist in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to concerns.
• Breakdown and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.
• Plate, prepare and serve food.
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of banquet events.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
