Job summary

Keswick Hall in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Banquet Server to join the Food & Beverage team. You will prepare service stations, organize buffets, and communicate guest needs to the kitchen while maintaining high standards of presentation and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 0–2 years in F&B, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong multitasking and teamwork abilities in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; 0–2 years F&B serving experience considered.
Certified in CPR, First Aid AED.
Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails and menu offerings.
Ability to multi-task and observe the dining room.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Prepare coffee breaks, carts and stations with appropriate supplies.
Organize tables, action stations, buffets, and carts for service.
Communicate any additional meal requirements or special requests to the kitchen.
Ensure courses are properly cleared and crumbed in a timely fashion.
Manage the presentation of tableware for guest accessibility.
Recognize and address potential intoxicated or disruptive guests.
Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitization of tables and service areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
