Job summary

Keswick Hall, a luxury 80-room boutique hotel at 600 acres near Charlottesville, Virginia, seeks a Banquet House Person to assist in setting up, cleaning and servicing banquet spaces and equipment for events. You will supervise staff, review the BEO, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of food & beverage serving or banquet experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review the BEO and day work assignments with supervisor.
• Assign and direct the set-up duties for functions.
• Assist with set-up, cleaning and arrangement of tables, chairs and equipment.
• Monitor SOPs and safety regulations while supervising duties.
• Inspect function rooms for completeness.
• Receive and issue guest packages for events.
• Maintain and secure banquet equipment.
• Drive vehicles for pickup/return of items and outside functions.
• Assist banquet servers as needed.
• Complete work orders for damaged equipment.
• Participate on hotel committees.
• Local travel only.
