Job summary

Fairmont Dallas is seeking a Banquet Manager to lead all aspects of the banquet department with a focus on service excellence and guest satisfaction. You will direct staff, ensure compliance with standards, manage function details and collaborate with catering teams to deliver flawless events.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in F&B leadership, culinary and guest relations experience, and a strong knowledge of hospitality operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an F&B manager/assistant manager in luxury or upscale settings.
• College degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management.
• Culinary and guest relations training are assets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of department policies, service standards and equipment use.
• Anticipate and respond to guests' needs with professionalism.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Prepare weekly staff schedules and manage labor costs.
• Coordinate function setup, menu selections and timing with Catering/Conference Services.
• Lead, mentor and supervise banquet staff to deliver top-tier service.
