Job summary

Fairmont Dallas is seeking a Banquet Manager to direct all aspects of the Banquet Department in the Arts District. You will lead and mentor staff, ensure exceptional service, and champion product quality from room setup to food and beverage presentation.

Responsibilities include managing group events, coordinating with Catering, and maintaining compliance with liquor laws and hotel standards. A background in luxury hospitality and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in F&B or banquet leadership in luxury hotels.
• College degree in hospitality management preferred.
• CPR certification and food handling awareness (TABC) desirable.
• Strong computer and POS abilities with Micros and Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all facets of the Banquet Department to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Coordinate group events, menus, and equipment needs with Catering.
• Maintain compliance with state liquor regulations and standards.
• Review function sheets, BEOs and floor plans for smooth service.
• Monitor sanitation, safety, and cost controls across events.
