Fairmont Austin, a premier luxury property, is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee event operations, lead service teams, and ensure flawless guest experiences. This role requires strong communication, organization, and a calm, high-standard approach in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

You will coordinate with culinary, stewarding, convention services, sales, and other departments to execute events from setup to breakdown.

Formación

• Previous Food & Beverage experience required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise banquet and event operations to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
• Lead and support banquet servers, bartenders, housepersons, and event teams during service.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate event details, BEOs, timelines, VIP requirements, and service expectations.
• Ensure event spaces, service stations, bars, buffets, and room setups meet hotel standards and client specifications.
• Monitor food and beverage service quality, timing, presentation, and guest satisfaction, assisting with service as needed.
• Respond to guest requests, resolve service concerns, and support service recovery.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Stewarding, Convention Services, Sales, Engineering, and other departments for efficient event execution.
• Oversee event setup, breakdown, room resets, and transitions between functions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Assist with team training, coaching, onboarding, and performance support.
• Monitor supplies, equipment, inventory, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
• Support VIP functions, weddings, conferences, rooftop events, and large-scale hotel activations.
• Maintain professional communication, leadership presence, and luxury hospitality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support banquet and hotel operations.
