Job summary

The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, part of the Auberge Resorts Collection in Los Olivos, CA, is seeking a Bartender to craft exceptional beverages and provide warm, attentive service. You will assist guests with drink preparation, know the menu, and contribute to the bar and restaurant experience in a luxury setting.

Responsibilities include taking orders via Micros, ensuring accurate billing, maintaining bar stock, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards while delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• One year experience in foodservice/hospitality as a bartender preferred.
• Knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine; luxury hospitality property experience preferred.
• Minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain state and local food handler/alcohol certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with beverage and drink preparation, servicing the bar and restaurant efficiently.
• Relate with guests about needs and satisfaction with beverages, ensuring high-quality service.
• Be knowledgeable about drinks and menu items to aid guest choices.
• Comply with Auberge Collection standards in bar and restaurant outlets.
• Contribute to beverage sales by knowledge of drinks, cocktails and prices.
• Take and input orders into Micros system accurately and timely.
• Prepare guest checks and collect payments as required.
• Operate, maintain and clean bar equipment and fittings.
• Ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
