Job summary

indiGO Auto Group in Rancho Mirage, CA, is hiring a full‑time Automotive Sales Consultant for Jaguar Land Rover Rancho Mirage. You will work in a fast‑paced environment with growth opportunities, handling customer inquiries, and guiding buyers through the car‑buying process from test drive to delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of automotive sales experience, excellent communication and math skills, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years automotive sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and math skills. These skills may be tested and evaluated.
• Ability to be insured to operate a motor vehicle.
• Clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality.
• Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Self-motivated and diligent.

Responsibilities

• Make regular customer contacts by floor time, phone ups, mail, and personal visits.
• Maintain a record of all customer contacts and regularly report progress to the sales manager.
• Obtain training for factory qualifications and product knowledge for each model.
• Perform regular contacts with previous customers and report performance to the sales manager.
• Take test-drives with customers according to management’s safety guidelines.
• Present to management all offers by customers to purchase vehicles.
• Prepare and process the required paperwork to finalize the vehicle sale.
• Deliver vehicles to customers, collect monies, and process trade-ins as requested by management.
• Arrange the first service appointment for customers and contact before/after the appointment.
