Job summary

CHANEL is seeking an Alterations Specialist in Palm Beach to deliver high‑quality alterations and exceptional client service within a luxury retail setting. The role requires5+ years of alterations experience in a luxury environment, deep knowledge of fabrics, and precise tailoring skills.

You will fit and alter a wide range of garments, organize client pieces, and advise on styling while maintaining CHANEL standards.

Qualifications

• Previous alterations experience in a luxury retail environment (min 5 years preferred).
• Solid knowledge of fabrics and sewing techniques.
• Ability to work under time constraints.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Detail oriented and able to lift 15 lb.
• Flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Uphold production standards to deliver the CHANEL experience to the client.
• Properly fit garments with clients and alter a wide range of pieces.
• Organize and maintain client-owned items per CHANEL expectations.
• Interact with clients to suggest styling and fitting advice.
• Maintain up-to-date alteration techniques knowledge for CHANEL fabrics and styling.
