Job summary

Alexander Wang LLC is seeking a Designer, Accessories to drive the design and development of handbags, SLG, and other accessories across seasonal concepts. The role requires strong design instincts, technical product knowledge, and a luxury market understanding to deliver brand-right products.

You will partner with Product Development, Merchandising, Materials, and Production to ensure concepts translate into commercially viable products, meeting deadlines and maintaining design integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accessories Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 3-4+ years of experience in accessories design, with handbags and SLG experience preferred.
• Experience designing across multiple accessories categories including handbags, SLG, belts, and lifestyle accessories preferred.
• Strong understanding of luxury accessories design, construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop seasonal concepts for handbags, SLG, and accessories aligned with directional line plans.
• Create and present design concepts including market research, material explorations, and color direction.
• Design products considering functionality, construction, finishes, trims, branding, and user experience.
• Collaborate with the Accessories team on development of seasonal collections and category strategies.
• Set up and maintain product information and specs within PLM and internal systems.
