Job summary

Embassy Suites Georgetown is hiring a restaurant busser to reset dining areas, stock serviceware, and assist servers. You will清 La set tables, pour water, refill beverages, and keep the dining spaces clean throughout all hours of operation.

Significant customer service experience in fast-paced settings is preferred. Candidates should be highly reliable, communicate well, and be flexible for AM/PM shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; or relevant work experience.
• Preferred 1–2 years' experience in high-volume, luxury lounge or restaurant.
• Meet minimum age requirement.
• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with high-profile clients and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Flexible to work AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Standing and walking throughout shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying.
• Bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated.
• Set tables with napkins, linens and silverware.
• Place tableware on tables.
• Serve water and bread baskets where needed.
• Refill beverages.
• Remove dirty utensils and replenish as needed.
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave.
• Maintain health and safety regulations at all dining areas.
• Assist servers and hosts when necessary.
• Maintain lounge and restaurant areas in a neat and orderly condition.
