Job summary

Embassy Suites Georgetown is seeking an experienced Restaurant Server to join our dining team. You will take orders, serve meals and beverages, and ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy of orders, coordinating with kitchen and bar, and handling payments. Must have ServeSafe and TIPs certifications, and prior hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• 1-2 years experience in high volume, luxury lounge or restaurant.
• Experience serving high-profile clients in hospitality.
• Must meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Excellent customer service in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Take and serve food and drink orders accurately at the dining establishment.
• Provide friendly, professional service and exceed guest expectations.
• Coordinate with management to address guest concerns and maintain a pleasant dining experience.
• Confirm orders with chefs/bartenders when clarification is needed.
• Manage POS transactions and ensure accurate checks and payments.
