Job summary

Rosewood Miramar Beach, a Rosewood Hotel, is seeking an extraordinary Pastry Cook I to join our luxury culinary team. The role covers prep, set up of the Pastry/Bake Shop, pastry and dessert production, ice creams, jams and displays in line with our standards.

Essential duties include maintaining cleanliness, following health regulations, coordinating with the Pastry Chef/Sous Chef, and supporting the kitchen during busy periods while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Some College or equivalent education and work experience.
• Must have current and valid Food Handler’s card.
• Minimum three years’ pastry experience; luxury/hotel exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce dessert menu items for Restaurants, Room Service and Banquets following recipes and yield guides.
• Prepare amenity orders for Room Service per hotel standards.
• Set up work station with mise en place and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Inform Chef of shortages and coordinate with team during busy periods.
• Maintain proper storage, minimize waste and follow health regulations.
