Job summary

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is seeking Food and Beverage Servers to support menu service and guest engagement in a fast-paced resort environment. You will present menu selections, share knowledge about offerings, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience.

The role requires a strong service mindset, refined communication skills, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. Experience in food service and an Alcohol server certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility in scheduling with ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Previous food service experience required (Hospitality industry and/or fine dining experience preferred).
• Must have current Alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency. Food service and/or other certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Submit guest menu selections and present these food and beverage preferences.
• Gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings.
• Engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by your style and service attributes.
• Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.
