Job summary

Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa is seeking a Lobby Lounge Server to provide exceptional food and beverage service in the resort's lobby lounge and bar areas. The role focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards of quality, professionalism, and hospitality.

The position requires excellent guest service skills, the ability to work a flexible schedule, and knowledge of food and beverage offerings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous serving experience in a restaurant, hotel, lounge, bar, or resort environment preferred.
• Luxury hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required or obtainable upon hire, as required by law.
• Responsible Beverage Service Certification required or obtainable upon hire, as required by law.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written); bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide menu recommendations.
• Serve food, cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established service standards.
• Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all responsible alcohol service requirements.
• Deliver food and beverages efficiently and according to quality standards.
• Assist with maintaining outlet appearance and operational readiness.
