Job summary

Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, California, is seeking a Lobby Lounge Server to provide exceptional service in the resort's lobby lounge and bar areas. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction with knowledge of menu, wine, and cocktails.

The role requires fluent English, previous serving experience, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and compliance with food safety and responsible alcohol service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous serving experience in a restaurant, hotel, lounge, bar or resort preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required or obtainable upon hire, as required by law.
• Responsible Beverage Service Certification required or obtainable upon hire, as required by law.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written) is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally in the lobby lounge and bar areas.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide menu recommendations.
• Serve food, cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages according to standards.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to requests, and ensure satisfaction throughout the visit.
• Maintain clean and organized tables, lounge seating, and service stations.
• Process payments and manage guest checks accurately; support events as needed.
