Job summary

Hotel Ivy in downtown Minneapolis is a true luxury, Forbes recommended hotel. This union position covers four regular shifts weekly, with opportunities for other shifts based on seniority.

You will work with the Room Service Team to ensure a positive guest experience by delivering food and beverages and setting up VIP amenities. Preferred candidates have hotel experience and strong guest communication skills, including accurate cash handling and adherence to sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• In-room dining in an upscale hotel is highly desired.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift/move items as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders according to guidelines.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve trays to maintain sanitation.
• Service all VIP amenities and hospitality suites per policies.
• Complete shift side work as outlined in operating policies.
• Respond to guest needs and issues to ensure a quality experience.
• Perform cash handling in accordance with policies.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
